Alapati was an equipment operator at Navy Marine Golf Course for 40+ years. He is survived by wife, Faleupolu "Fale" Esekia; son, Maselusi A. Esekia; daughters, Talafaaiva F. (Wayne) Laa, Hana T. (Jonathan) Tagovailoa; 6 grandchildren; step-father, Vaa Lautoa Atisano'e; brothers, Kasiano (Talila) Atisano'e, Anoalo (Noenoe) Atisano'e, Lautoa, Jr. (April) Atisano'e, Salevaa (Chie) Atisano'e, Faalologo (Sina)Savea; sisters, Sailiaga (Lemafa) Avega, Malia (Ainuupapaliitele) Talaepa, Luania (Taleni) Sula, Luania Ealim; hanai parents, Simeaota & Sivaa Mua; hanai brothers, Rev. Siaki (Lealofi) Penitito, Rev. Teiano (Sala) Mua, Pastor Taleni (Nia) Sula; hanai sisters, Lafoga (Ioane) Sagapolutele, Liaina (Taliese) Sula, Faafetai (Aluese) Numera.
