Darrel Kanemasa Takemoto, 62, of Kailua-Kona, a self- employed mechanic, lead ramp agent at Aloha Contract Services in Kona and an Air Force veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Gloria May, mother Yaeko, brother Russell and numerous sons, daughters and grandchildren. Private services.
