Harold Haruo Yamada, 94, of Hilo, proprietor of the former Yamada Bus, an auto mechanic and service station operator in Laupahoehoe, Hawaii, and Gardena, Calif., died in Hilo Medical Center, Hospice of Hilo Room. He was born in Laupahoehoe. He is survived by wife Thelma T.; sons Larry, Richard and Curtis; daughters Arlene Yokoyama and Marion Stewart; and eight grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Monday at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 10:30 a.m. Graveside committal services: 1:30 p.m. at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire. No flowers.
