EVANGELINE EVE" MELENDEZ JOHNSON
Age 84 of Waipahu, Hawaii, passed away November 10, 2010 in Kaneohe, Hawaii. She was born September 16, 1926 in San Fernando, Panpangopi, Philip-pines. Evangeline retired as a Senior Fingerprint Classifier from the Honolulu Police Department. She was a member of the Honolulu Police Department Oldtimers Club; VFW Auxilary 94, Panpango Circle of Hawaii, and Asingan Club of Hawaii.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Johnson; sons, Michael Racelo of CA, Vince Vachon; daughters, Katherine (David) Coffman, Linda (Dan) Short of KY; brothers, Benigno Melendez of Philippines, Eulogio (Linda) Melendez of Philippines; sister, Andrea Ramos of Philippines; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grand-children.
Visitation 8:30 a.m. Wednesday (December 1) at St. Joseph Catholic Church (94-675 Farrington Hwy., Waipahu); Mass 9:30 a.m. Burial 11:00 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual Attire.
