79Misae Takanishi, 89, of Honolulu, a retired teacher at Waimea High School on Kauai, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. She was born in Koloa, Kauai. She is survived by son Claude K., daughter Ruby, brother Harry Tokushige, sisters Mutsue Ogata and Gladys Okada, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Private services.
