74Evelyn Shinako Furushima, 91, of Koloa, Kauai, a Kauai Commercial Co. supervisor, died in Kuakini Medical Center. She was born in Waimea, Kauai. She is survived by sons Alan T. and Melvin M. Sasaki, daughters Ruth E. Matsumoto and Joyce C. Nakaoka, stepsons Ralph and Dennis, stepdaughters Carol Moriguchi and Gail Makishi, sister Leatrice M. Kimura, 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Private services.
