Beatrice Y. C. Carter, 75, passed away on November 22, 2010 and entered eternal rest with her Lord and Savior. Bea was born December 29, 1934 in Honolulu, Hawaii to parents Edward and Helen Chang. She graduated from Sacred Hearts Academy class of '53 and also the University of Hawaii. Bea retired from the Kamehameha Schools after 26 years of service and made Mesa, AZ her new home with her only daughter Donna and her family. Those who knew Bea will remember her generosity, loving dedication to her family and her love for the Lord. We will miss her sweet smile and quick laughter. Bea is survived by her husband of 52 years, Albert "Paki" Carter, daughter Donna Jo and son in law Jason Tani. She was Nana to her precious grandchildren, Lauren Mahina, Carter Kapono and Caroline Moana Tani. Sisters Annie Park, Clara Yokotake and Elaine Hoffman. Bea was preceded in death by her brother Dennis Chang. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Services will be private.
