Age 71, of Mililani, Hawaii, passed away October 27, 2010 in Mililani. Born May 3, 1939 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He retired as a police detective for Honolulu Police Department after 38 years of service. He passed away at home surrounded by family.

He is survived by son, Foster C. Mike (Raylene) Afalava; daughters, Natalie M. Afalava, Nyna Afalava; 4 grandchildren; Tiyana Fao, Danson Rose, Taylor Afalava-Savali, Alexis Afalava; brothers, Raymond C. (Anjulie) Afalava, Wallace K. T. (Roxanne) Afalava; sisters, Shirley Lantrip; Ramona, Barber; Dolly (Robert) Chang; numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.

Visitation 5:30 p.m. Friday (December 10) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Memorial Service 6:30 p.m. Burial 11:30 a.m. Saturday (December 11) at Mililani
