FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

WILLIAM R. “ROB” HAY, JR.
WILLIAM R. "ROB" HAY, JR. William Robert "Rob" Hay, Jr. died Nov. 24, 2010 at the Kaiser Moanalua Hospital in Honolulu. He was born in Shreveport, La. May 15, 1935 to William Robert Hay and and Nevelyn Farnell Hay. He graduated from C. E. Byrd High School and attended Centenary College and L. S. U. Rob served in the U.S. Army in missile defense and then returned to Shreveport, working there, in Honolulu and St. Croix, Virgin Islands before retiring in Honolulu. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Ann (Kaleiwahea) Hay and a stepson, James "Kimo" Kaleiwahea. Also surviving Mr. Hay is a sister, Gay H. Elliott and husband, Edward C. Elliott of Raleigh, N.C.; Nephews, Ralph E. Elliott and wife Mary, of Freeport, IL. And Chris Elliott and wife Cindy, of San Diego, Ca., two Great nephews, Brian Elliott of Chicago, and Ronan Elliott of San Diego; Two great nieces, Sarah Elliott of Freeport, IL. and Ania Elliott of San Diego. Rob also leaves many close friends from the Elks Lodge #122 in Shreveport, La Scattering of the ashes will be on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Maile Beach where Rob and Carol were married. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Cat's 'n Caring, P.O.
