JAMES R. SIROIS
James R. Sirois, age 66, passed away after a five-year struggle with Alzheimer's on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Hill House Assisted Living in Bath, Maine.
James, formally of Wichert, Illinois taught in the Chicago public school system for over 30 years. He started the fine arts program in 1979 at the Franklin Fine Arts Center, where he taught piano to elementary students until his retirement in 2005. He was a graduate of St. Anne High School and the University of Illinois, Cham-paign, with his Masters Degree.
He is survived by his mother, Lorene M. Sirois, 2 sisters and brothers in-law, Joanne & Gerald McTaggart of Chillicothe, Il and Judy & Chuck Reeves of Westport Island, Maine; 3 nephews and 2 nieces. Preceding him in death was his father, Roger Sirois.
