75Nobuko Watanabe, 78, of Kaneohe, a retired state Department of Education school secretary, died. She was born in Haleiwa. She is survived by husband Masaichi; children Carol Igawa, Steve Watanabe, Laurie Watanabe and Joy Fukumitsu; sisters Violet Awaya, Jane Johnson and Emily Fujioka; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
