Lawrence Kekiwi Sr., 78, of Waianae, a heavy equipment operator and an Army veteran, died in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Kula, Maui. He is survived by sons Lawrence H. Kekiwi Jr. and Alfred, Allen and Rudolph Perez; daughters Florence L. Tua, Gwendolyn Vierra and Genevieve Balisacan; brothers Walter, Joseph and Dennis; sisters Isabel K. Kaha, Lucille K. Smith and Agnes L.K. Loe; 32 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Church, Waianae. Mass: 11 a.m. Aloha attire.
