Katsuji Kenneth Kuranishi, 87, of Aiea, a power plant operator for the Navy at Kunia Tunnel and an Army veteran, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Kazue "Ellen," son Eric, daughter Karie Yadao, brothers Hiromu "Harry" and Clifford N., sisters Frances S. Okura and June A. Wakuta, and four grandchildren. Private services.
