Age 89 of Waipahu, Hawaii, passed away December 16, 2010 in Ewa Beach. He was born December 4, 1921 in Kipapa, Oahu. Instructor in Aikido 4th degree at Hawaii Aiki Kai in Ewa; and an avid gardener. Member of the Hawaii Carpenters Union #745. A devoted family man who took great pride in his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Yamamura; sons, Dean Yamamura, Daniel (Sabine) Yamamura; sisters, Yvonne (Tak) Tokumoto, Audrey (Dr. George) Shimomura; brother, Lawrence (Diana) Yamamura; 2 grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation 5:30 p.m. Thursday (January 6) at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel; Memorial Service 6:00 p.m. Casual Attire. No flowers, please.
