81Virginia "Virgie" Ortiz, 96, of Numila, Kauai, a homemaker, died in Hale Kupuna Heritage. She was born in Utudo, Puerto Rico. She is survived by sons John and Benjamin, sister Emma Frietas, four grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Mass: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
