Melvin Joseph Dutro Sr., 89, of Wahiawa, an employee for the U.S. Department of the Interior, Fish and Wildlife Service, and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Wahiawa General Hospital. He was born in Watsonville, Calif. He is survived by sons Melvin J. Jr. and Kenneth J. Sr., daughter Elvajean T. Weeks, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Wahiawa. Mass: 11 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
