ETSUKO SHIRO
Etsuko Shiro, 84, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2011, in Wesley Willows. Born March 13, 1926 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Takeshi and Taniko (Yamamoto) Okamoto. Married Joji Shiro on October 30, 1954 in Chicago, IL. Etsuko loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren and traveling.
Survivors include son, Dr. John W. Shiro; grandchildren, Katherine, Christopher, Elisabeth, Amelia, Scott and Stephanie; brothers, Akira, Sataru, George and Richard Okamoto and sisters, Martha Ohtani and Sumiko Ching. Predeceased by parents, husband and son, Robert.
