Dec. 26, 2010 Hilo Hiroyoshi Nakata, 89, of Waipahu, a retired U.S. government mason at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and an Army veteran with K Company, 442nd Infantry Regimental Combat Team, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Ethel M.; son Ken; daughters Doreen Gabaylo, Julie Tam, Amy Kaneshiro, Karen Asada and Lynn Momohara; brother Toshio; sister Kay Fletcher; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Sunday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
