Robert Eugene Mytinger, 84, of Honolulu, a professor emeritus of public health at University of Hawaii School of Public Health, HMSA vice president of community relations and a Navy veteran who served in World War II and the Korean War with the U.S. Naval Medical Service Corps, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. He was born in Belle Fourche, S.D. He is survived by wife Faye, daughters Heidi Gassman and Melissa Mytinger, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Private services.
