74Clarence Keahialoa Waipa, 77, of Hilo, a retired St. Joseph School music teacher, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Becky Jane "Janie"; daughters Tani Waipa-Kaneao and Jennifer Waipa; stepsons Michael and Roger Lee, stepdaughters Wendy and Karen Lee; sisters Julia Surls, Elizabeth Strachan and Mae Moore; and nine grandchildren. Visitations: 5 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 7 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima section. Casual attire.
