J.E. "Bud" Trulson, 75, of Hilo, a retired county Safety Department workers compensation specialist and Pacific Insurance Co. claims manager and a Navy veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. He was born in Grand Forks, N.D. He is survived by wife Janie; daughters Debra Patterson, Karin Trulson and Patricia Rothstein; five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. No services.
