ELIZABETH (BETTY) ARNOTT
89 years of age, passed away on December 29, 2010 in Springfield, Oregon. A long-time resident of Manoa Valley, Betty was active in Malama O Manoa as well as other civic organizations. Betty was born in Aberdeen, Scotland and moved to Honoapu, Hawaii as a three year old. She graduated from Hilo High School. During the war she worked a phlebotomist at Honolulu Medical Group. She also worked for HMSA, and for Central Union Church. Betty's husband, Robertson preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Kay Hilsenkopf, Bob Arnott, Tom Arnott, and Susan Manson and seven grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Private family services will be held. Memorials in her honor may be made to: Oregon Supported Living Program, 1250 Charnelton Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401 or the Alzheimer's Association.
