84, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 in Midland, TX. She was born Monday, July 26, 1926 in Honolulu, Hawaii to parents Alfred Burton Joy and Helen Lois (Rugg) Joy. She married George Clyde Hathaway Jr. of Wichita Falls, TX on December 12, 1950 and was a faithful Navy wife, homemaker and Texas Rangers fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her brother Donald R. Joy and wife Joan of Conway, SC, two sons, Wayne L. Hathaway and wife Vicki of Midland, TX, and Bruce Hathaway and wife Ruth of Longview, TX. She is also survived by grandchildren Jennifer Rose and husband Rodney of Lemoore, CA; Jason Hathaway and wife Shannon of Kennewick, WA; Jana Anderson and husband Jeremy of Midland, TX and great grandchildren Casey, Michael, Kaitlyn, Nicholas, Brayden, Sierra, Delaney and Gabriel.
