71Maria Joaquina "Tina" Lai Hipp, 80, of Kahului, formerly of Hilo, a Woolworths Store sales manager, died in Hale Makua, Kahului. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by son Dennis; daughter Debra; brother Ernest Chan Nui; sisters Betty Nelson, Etta Alicuben and Elizabeth Corley; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Private services. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to Kidney Foundation.
