Samuelu Afasene Tali "Uncle Sam" Uta, 62, of Hawaii Kai, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. He was born in Vatia, American Samoa. He is survived by wife Annalise; sons Samuelu A. Jr. and Jacob J.K.; daughters Malia M. and Samantha K.; brothers Peniamina Afasene-Uta and Faresa A. Tali; and sisters Levaivanu M. Karapani, Ta'etasi V. Faitala, Su'e A. Siofele, Lavania A. Ioane and Fuarosa A.T. Yasuda. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday at Aiea United Methodist Church. Services at noon. Burial: 3 p.m. at Valley of the Temples.
