Donald Joseph Tavares, 71, of Kaneohe, a retired King Kamehameha Hotel maintenance employee, died in Ann Pearl Nursing Facility. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by sons Donald "Donnie" Jr. and Patrick; daughters Donna Zazueta and Irene Davidson; brothers Richard and Gordon; sisters Ruth Braz, Marlene Isaac and Minnie Caires; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. No services.
