81Isamu "Sam" Tomita, 89, of Honolulu, a retired Hicks Construction Co. carpenter, died at home. He was born in Ho-nolulu. He is survived by wife Kimie; son Ken I.; brothers Jack M., Richard K., Shigeru and Thomas H.; sisters Beatrice K. Ohashi and Betty S. Miyamoto; and two grandchildren. Private services.
