Thomas Yoshio Iwai, 89, of Honolulu, a retired self-employed painting contractor and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Hale Ho Aloha. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Doris; sons Gary, Milburn and Thomas Jr.; daughter Cheryl Oumi; brothers Howard, Harold and Dr. Charles; sisters Stella Takamatsu and Esther Sakata; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Private services.
