Joseph G. Mullins, 87, writer, adventurer, linguist, volunteer, US Marine Corp WWII veteran, formerly of Honolulu, passed away peacefully at his home in Chicago, February 16, 2011.
Beloved father of Frieda (Eliud) Hernandez of Chicago, Patrick (Christine) Munson of Las Vegas, and Cybele (Brandy Kaake) Mullins of Los Angeles.
Grandfather of Conner and Jade Munson.
Best and oldest friend to Bob Wilcox, friend and fellow world traveler to Charlie Rizzo and countless others.

Celebration of Joseph's life is being held 4PM to 7:30PM, Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Polish Museum of America, 984 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL 60642-4101.
