Hajime Nakao, 84, of Honolulu, a retired Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel maintenance engineer and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Kealakekua, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Masako, son Layton H., brothers Masao and Jerry M., sisters Masako Matsumoto and Miyoko Takegami, and two grandchildren. Private services.
