76Leonard S.F. Malaepule, 77, of Waianae, a retired supervisor with the city Parks and Recreation Department tree trimming division, died in Convalescent Center of Honolulu. He was born in Olosega, Samoa. He is survived by son Mercer Aikala, daughters Eleanor Akau and Rita K. Martin, 18 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 48 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Ka Hale Hoano o ke Akua Church, 1760 Nalani St., Kalihi. Services: 10:30 a.m. No burial services. Casual attire.
