Susumu "Tonti" Sakaida, 86, of Aiea, a retired journey general mechanic of CPC Del Monte Kualapuu, Molokai, and an Army veteran who served in World War II with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, I Company, died in Pali Momi Medical Center. He was born in Kaunakakai. He is survived by sons Dane and Eric, daughter Grace McKnight, brothers Seichi and Manabu, and 10 grandchildren. Visitation: 2 p.m. Sunday at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services: 3 p.m. Inurnment at a later date at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire. No flowers.
