Born in Waianae, she was a retired Tax Returns Examiner for the State of Hawaii - Department of Taxation. survived by her husband, Roy; son, Gregg (Ruthann); sister, Dorothy I. Matsuo; granddaughter, Kelsey Yamanaka. Visitation from 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; memorial service 6:00 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers. Inurnment will be on Friday at Punchbowl.
