Leialoha Leiona “Lei” Kamanawa, 75, of Kailua-Kona, a retired Kona Surf Resort room maid, died in Kona Community Hospital. She was born in Puuwaawaa, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Clarkdan and Francis; daughters Leinora Howell and Channalee Kamanawa; hanai daughter Gwendolyn Nelson; stepmother Rebecca Hopfe; sister Nora Hao; half sisters Alice Gray and Brendalee Dorsey; hanai brothers Charles and Albert Mitchell; hanai sisters Patti Chong, Dorene Mills, Juliette Lucena and Vivian Kaili; stepsister Laverne Bolosan; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation: 7 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kailua Ward. Services: 9:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Kona Memorial Park. Casual attire. No flowers.
