Arnold R. Acosta, 49, of Kapaa, Kauai, a self-employed construction worker and a merchant seaman, died at home. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by wife Mele; sons Gil and Arnold; daughters Jocelyn Fernandez, Kristi-Mae Acosta, Joyce Catbagan and Jackie Degracia; brothers Sonny, Tony, Chris and Leandro; sisters Leilanie Acosta and Virgie Albero; and seven grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Catherine Church, Kapaa. Mass: 10 a.m. Luncheon to follow.
