James Jensei Higa, 86, of Honolulu, a retired Federal Aviation Administration electrical engineer and an Army veteran, died. He was born in Waipahu. He is survived by wife Yoshiko; son Wendell M.; daughters Natalie A. Yabusaki and Jamie M. Lee; brothers Zensuke, Robert, George, Richard, Ronald, Harry and Michael; sisters Alice Howe, Mabel Higa and Lorene Ono; and nine grandchildren. Private services.
