78Elisa Brioso Balauro, 69, of Kekaha, Kauai, a Syngenta Seeds Inc. retiree, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. She was born in Patucannay Bangued, Abra, Philippines. She is survived by husband Valentin Sr.; sons Richard and Valentin Jr.; daughters Jackelyn Hayashi, Jean Balauro and Joy Groenleer; brothers Leonardo Brioso and Juan Brioso Jr.; sister Herminia Gandeza; and five grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. today at St. Theresa Church, Kekaha. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kekaha Cemetery.
