William Robert Clegg Sr., 96, of Kaneohe, a teacher of Latin, Greek and American history at White Plains High School in White Plains, N.Y., and a Navy lieutenant who served in World War II, died in Kaneohe. He was born in Providence, R.I. He is survived by wife Beryl R., sons William R. Jr. and Timothy T., daughter Judith E., brother Rick, sister Elizabeth, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Services: 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Pohai Nani in Kaneohe. Inurnment to follow in April in East Greenwich, R.I. Aloha attire. No flowers. Donations may be made to Hawaii Opera Theatre.
