Lewis L. Schreiner

Born in Ellensburg, WA, Lew came to Hawaii in 1936 with the Air Corp. He worked at Hickem AB in WWII and became a pilot for Hawaiian Air in Dec 1942. He became a Capt and retired in 1974. His passion was flying since the day at 16 he snuck away to take flying lessons. He loved to golf, bowl, fly gliders and travel with his wife the late Mary Jane.

Lew is survived by his, 4 children Belinda (Ray) Winge of Oregon, Jill Miller of Oregon, Lee Schreiner of Calif, Cindy Cowling of Oregon and two grand children Morgan Cowling and Matthew Booker, and his Sister, Jean of Washington.

Private services have already been held.
