79Donald Leroy Moniz, 72, of Honokaa, Hawaii, a retired technician at Mealani Experiment Station in Waimea, Hawaii, died in North Hawaii Community Hospital. He was born in Honokaa. He is survived by wife Shirley, son Rex, daughters Lorna Cypriano and Kelly Loc, sisters Christine Johansen and Mary Gomes, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Honokaa. Mass: 10 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
