Gina Jeannine Ready, 49, of Kailua-Kona, a certified substance abuse counselor for the Big Island Substance Abuse Council, died at home. She was born in Huntington Park, Calif. She is survived by son Coty Shupp, daughters Roxanne Shupp and Aquilena Hamilton, mother Mary Smith and a grandchild. Services to be held at a later date.
