DR. LARRY NOBUO MATSUURA

Dr. Larry Nobuo Matsuura, 85, died on February 23, 2011 at the Hi’olani Care Center in Honolulu. Dr. Matsuura was born July 11, 1925 in Waialua, Hawaii. He was a retired psychologist and a veteran of the U.S. Army Military Intelligence in post World War II Japan.

Dr. Matsuura is survived by: Companion Margaret Glenn; sons Dr. James Matsuura and Dr. John (Natalie) Matsuura; daughter Diane (Michael) Pang; grandchildren Mae Matsuura and Daniel Pang; sisters Ruth Tomita, Marjie Yokoyama, Alice Furuya; and brother Harold Matsuura.

Visitation on Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. at the Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel followed by services at 6:00 p.m. Committal Services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl.
