72James Rufino Maddela, also known as “Jimmy” and “Jack,” 92, of Kahului, a Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Co. cane hauler, died in Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He is survived by sons Joseph R. Sr. and Arthur V., daughters Monica L. Maddela and Roxanne “Hoku” Hu, brothers Costo and Florentino, sister Rosalia Manuel, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Nakamura Mortuary. Services: 9:30 a.m. Burial: 10:30 a.m. at Maui Memorial Park.
