Elbert Gijiro Arakawa, 96, of Honolulu, a retired U.S. Postal Service supervisor, died in Honolulu. He was born in Paia, Maui. He is survived by wife Grace; sons Glen and Charles; daughters Linette Arakawa and Marian Crocco; sisters Julette Nakashima, Rochelle Shimabuku and Lillian Yamanaka; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Monday at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park Chapel. Services: 11 a.m. Burial: 1:30 p.m. at Valley of the Temples.
