Henry Kalani David Sr., 69, of Waianae, a retired Schnitzer Steel Hawaii Corp. heavy equipment operator and a Navy veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died in the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center emergency room. He was born in Kona. He is survived by wife Rose; sons Henry “Smallman” Jr. and Peter; daughters Heidi Kreusling, Dina and Peterlynn Vinson, and Charlotte and Corinne David; brothers Samuel Jr., Albert and Walter David, and John Scofield; sisters Leilani Leong, Gwendolyn Walker, Marilyn Mohammed, Gwendolyn Dela Cruz, Joanne Perreira, Myra Tagami and Jacque Everett; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
