Age 84, of Wahiawa, Hawaii, passed away March 31, 2011 in Waipahu. Born September 21, 1926 in Cebu City, Philippines. He retired as a welder from Pearl Harbor Shipyard and veteran for U.S. Army.
He is survived by sons, Derek (Christine) Catao, Anthony Catao; daughters, Yvonne (John) Schilling of Las Vegas, Elizabeth Mila Toki, Deborah (David) Komuro, Vivian Catao of Las Vegas, Marilynn (Efrain) Gonzalez of Las Vegas, Juli Catao (Ed) Brandwein of Colorado, Nora (Richard) Posta of Las Vegas; sisters, Bessie V. Catao (Doug) Kawakami, Rufina Catao Hancock of P.A.; 30 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation 5:30 p.m. Thursday (April 21) at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel; Wake Service 6:30 p.m. Visitation also 9:30 a.m. Friday (April 22) at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel; Prayer Service 11:00 a.m. Burial 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual Attire. Flowers Welcome.
