Linda Grass Chemtob, 60, of Honolulu, a philanthropist, advocate of music education for the young and arts administrator, died in New York City. She was born in Harrisburg, Pa. She is survived by husband Claude M., son Adam Shapiro, daughter Rachel Shapiro, mother Lois L. Grass, brother Roger Grass and sister Elizabeth G. Weese. Services held.
