Alverna U.Y.K. Yuen, 82, of Honolulu, a retired Brewer Environmental Industries secretary, died in the Queen's Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Kenneth D.H.; sons Kevin, Chris, Kent and Kenn; brother Alexander Ho; sisters Audrey Vance and Alexa Hashimoto; and seven grandchildren. Mass: 3:30 p.m. Friday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Visitation: 4:30 p.m. Celebration of life: 6 p.m. Inurnment: 8:30 a.m. May 2 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Aloha attire. No flowers.
