He retired from U.S. Air Force after 33 years of service; a lifeguard for Waipahu Recreation Center; Vice President of Ota Camp Association, also worked with Waipahu Catholic & Christian Charities & Body Builder trainer.
He is survived by wife, Gloria E. Tagalog; sons, James P. (Jonina) Tagalog, Marcos E. (Karen) Tagalog, Tilden M. (Angeline) Tagalog, Glen D. (Jennie) Tagalog, Matthias E. Tagalog, Dominick E. Tagalog; daughters, Cindy Ann T. (Al) Nieves, Brenda L. (Luis) Gonzalez; brother, Simplicio (Nora) Tagalog; sister, Loretta (Shack) Shinozawa; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
