Allan Teodorico "Braddah" Cortez, 63, of Keaau, Hawaii, a retired union electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1186 and an Army medic specialist and veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Beverly, son Allan S., daughters Allyson Cortez-Hewetson and Allyssa Cortez, brother Milton, sister Bernadette Cortez-Camero and a grandchild. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 10 a.m. Graveside committal services: 9 a.m. May 9 at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
